NEPSE Climbs 25.55 Points To Settle at 2,585.04 Level; All Sector Close at Green Except Mutual Fund

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a double-digit gain today, gaining by 25.55 points (0.99%) to close at 2,585.04. This follows a 27.94 -point gain in the previous trading session.

 

The benchmark index opened at 2,559.79 and fluctuated between an intraday high of 2,587.47 and a low of 2,556.90 before settling at the close. Total turnover for the day amounted to Rs. 4.68 Arba, with 11,595,654 shares traded across 336 companies through 49,074 transactions. The total market capitalization stood at Rs. 44.46 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 15.01 Kharba.

 

NRN Infrastructure and Development Limited (NRN) topped the turnover chart, recording transactions worth Rs. 24.90 crores. The company’s stock closed at Rs. 1,448.00.

 

Infinity Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (ILBS) led the gainer's list with a 6.43% gain. The stock closed at Rs. 925.90.

 

Meanwhile, Upakar Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (ULBSL) recorded the Highest fall, falling by 8.23%. The last traded price of the company was Rs. 2,536.00

 

Among sectors, Finance Index recorded the highest gain, gaining by 1.83%, while the Mutual Fund recorded the least gain, down 0.31%.
