Nepali Students Honoured with Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards

The International Education group at Cambridge University Press & Assessment has announced the winners of the Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards in Nepal, recognising exceptional academic performance in the November 2024 and June 2025 examination series.

More than 47 students from Nepal received awards for outstanding results in Cambridge International AS & A Level examinations. Among them, four students achieved the highest marks in the world, while 36 students secured the highest marks in Nepal in individual subjects.

The awards programme, run by Cambridge International Education, celebrates high-achieving learners in over 40 countries and highlights the global recognition of Cambridge qualifications for developing critical thinking, research skills, and subject expertise valued by leading universities.

Officials noted that the achievements reflect students’ dedication along with strong support from teachers, schools, and families. Representatives from the British Council also praised Nepali learners for their discipline and academic excellence, stating that the results demonstrate the growing strength of Cambridge education in Nepal.

Cambridge qualifications are part of the wider academic framework of the University of Cambridge, designed to prepare students for higher education and future careers worldwide.
