Nepal SBI Bank’s 7% Debenture 2090 Oversubscribed by 4 Times, Signals Strong Investor Confidence

Nepal SBI Bank Limited has successfully closed its "7% Nepal SBI Bank Debenture 2090" issue, which was oversubscribed by more than four times. Originally offering 30 lakh units at a face value of NPR 1,000 each (worth NPR 3 billion), the debenture received applications for over 1.2 crore units, indicating overwhelming investor confidence.

Launched on 14th July 2025 and closed on 17th July 2025, the debenture was distributed with 18 lakh units through private placement and 12 lakh units to the public, including 5% (60,000 units) reserved for mutual funds. Offering a 7% annual interest over a 10-year maturity period, the debenture was approved by SEBON on 21st May 2025 and managed by Nabil Investment Banking Limited.
