Nepal Rastra Bank Set to Announce Monetary Policy Today

Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) is scheduled to unveil the Monetary Policy for the fiscal year 2082/83 today, Friday. Preparations for the announcement were completed following a board meeting held on Thursday evening.

This marks the 59th monetary policy to be introduced by the central bank. The policy will be presented during a meeting scheduled for Friday morning.

The upcoming monetary policy is expected to guide the country’s financial direction for the year ahead, with measures aligned to address current macroeconomic conditions and banking sector needs.

Governor Paudel is set to unveil the policy live via television and social media platforms today. A press conference will follow the announcement at NRB’s new building in Baluwatar, scheduled for 1:30 PM.
