Mero Microfinance Laghubitta Conducts Financial Literacy Program in Chitwan
Mero Microfinance Laghubitta Sanstha Limited has successfully organized a financial literacy and customer grievance hearing program in Chitwan, with participation from local representatives, security officials, staff, and service users.
At the event, Ward Chairperson of Khaireni Municipality–8, Shankar Kadel, emphasized the importance of financial literacy in promoting self-reliance and economic empowerment. Police Inspector Sagar Pant highlighted the need for secure and transparent financial transactions and raised awareness about fraud prevention and financial crimes. Regional heads Jitendra Kaji Thapa and Krishna Prasad Upreti shared information about the institution’s services, focusing on responsible lending and financial discipline.
The program also educated participants on savings, loan management, budgeting, and investment planning, while a grievance session allowed customers to share concerns and suggestions. Participants stated that such initiatives help improve financial awareness and empowerment.
