Market continues to lose points as fiscal year approaches completion; turnover falls to Rs.37.47 Crore

The market today displaced 0.23% or 2.86 points and closed at 1242.03 points. The turnover stood at Rs.37.47 Crore achieved from trade of 1,221,400 units of shares traded through 5,971 transactions trading scrips of 169 listed companies in the process.
Today’s trade was dominated by Nepal Bank Limited (NBL) after posting a turnover of Rs.2.62 Crore achieved through trade of 79,115 units of shares. The LTP of the commercial bank stands at Rs.333 per share.
Civil Laghubitta (CLBSL) was today’s top gainer as it gained 4.87% or 25 points and closed at Rs.538 per share. Mithila Laghubitta (MLBBL) was today’s top loser after it lost 4.98% or 21 points and closed at Rs.400 per share.
Sensitive Index lost 0.72 points and closed at 268.52 points while Float Index lost 0.20 points and closed at 91.10 points.
Development Banks, Hydropower, Manufacturing and Life Insurance were among the gaining sub-indices while the rest of the sub-indices ended in the red zone after losing points.
