Market closes in the green after losing for three consecutive trading days; gains 2.92 points, standing at 1250.27 points

After losing for three consecutive days, the market today posted a gain of 0.23% or 2.92 points and closed at 1250.27 points. The turnover stood at Rs.46.82 Crore which was achieved from trade of 1,607,672 units of shares traded through 5,798 transactions trading scrips of 165 listed companies in the process.

Today’s trade was dominated by Promoter Shares of Nepal Investment Bank (NIBPO) with turnover of Rs.6.02 Crore achieved from trade of 187,430 units of shares. The LTP of the scrip stands at Rs.469 per share.

Infinity Laghubitta (ILBS) hit the positive circuit today as it gained 9.85% or 34 points and closed at Rs.377 per share. Support Microfinance (SMB) was today’s top loser as it lost 4.28% or 18 points and closed at Rs.402 per share.

Sensitive Index gained 0.27 points and closed at 269.06 points while Float Index gained 0.24 points and closed at 91.71 points.

Hotels, Non-Life Insurance, Microfinance and Mutual Funds were among the losing sub-indices today while rest of the sub-indices ended in the green zone after gaining points.
