Machhapuchhre Bank fulfills prior commitment; opens branches at 10 bankless rural locations throughout the nation
As the deadline given by NRB to the commercial banks to open their branches at remote locations, one more commercial bank Machhapuchhre Bank has also inaugurated multiple branches on a single day. The bank has brought into operation 10 more branches at different locations from Jestha 1, 2075. After the latest expansion bid, Haleshi of Khotang and Ganeshman Charnath of Dhanusha saw the bank’s branches which were inaugurated by former chairman of the bank Dr. Birendra Prasad Mahato, BOD Mr. Ram Man Shrestha.
Similarly, another branch at Baradashi of Jhapa was inaugurated by BOD of the bank Mr. Gopi Krishna Neupane. Likewise, Jahada of Morang, Brindawan of Rautahat, Kalika and Ichhyakamana of Chitwan, Maadi of Kaski, Panchadeval of Acham Binayak and Khatyat of Mugu also witnessed the opening of the bank’s branches on the very day.
With this expansion, the bank has a network of 74 branches, 2 extension counters, 19 branchless banking locations and 88 ATMs.
