Machhapuchchhre Bank Partners with NCHL to Launch NEPALPAY Card Services

Machhapuchchhre Bank Limited has signed an agreement with Nepal Clearing House Limited (NCHL) to enable NEPALPAY Card transactions through its EFT Card Switch. The partnership allows the bank to issue NEPALPAY cards and accept both domestic and international cards, including those under the Discover and RuPay networks.

In the initial phase, the service will be available across the bank’s ATMs and POS terminals, with plans to expand further. The move supports Nepal’s growing digital payment ecosystem, where NEPALPAY is being adopted by multiple financial institutions and is expected to expand rapidly in the coming days.
