Kiran Pandit Sworn in as Deputy Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank

Kiran Pandit has taken the oath of office as the new Deputy Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank before Governor Prof. Dr. Biswo Nath Poudel. His appointment follows the Council of Ministers’ decision on 24th Chaitra 2082.

Pandit began his banking career on 2nd Magh 2062 as an Assistant Director and gradually rose through the ranks, serving as Deputy Director (2068), Director (2074), and Executive Director (1st Falgun 2081). During his tenure as Executive Director, he led the Payment Systems and Foreign Exchange Management departments and also served as the bank’s spokesperson.
