Janata Bank led consortium inks deal to provide Rs 1.34 arba worth of line of credit facility to 10 MW Upper Daraudi 1 Hydropower

The consortium of commercial banks led by Janata Bank and followed by Kumari Bank and Century Bank has agreed to provide credit facility worth of Rs 1.34 arba to Upper Daraudi Hydropower. the installed capacity of the diamond Hydropower Company promoted project is 10 MW. The agreement was signed between Mr. Nikolus Pandey from the promoting company and MD of Kathmandu Regional Office of Janata Bank Mr. Kalyan Bikram Pandey from the consortium partners. The total estimated capital required for construction of this project is at around Rs 1.92 arba.

The project will be built at Daraudi river of Gorkha district. after its completion, 5.18 crore unit electricity is expected to be produced through the project.
