inDrive has reaffirmed its commitment to fair and affordable ride-hailing services in Nepal amid rising fuel prices and increasing living costs that are affecting both drivers and passengers. Acknowledging the pressure on driver earnings and passenger affordability, the company is working to maintain a balance between sustainable income for drivers and reasonable fares.

As part of its response, inDrive Nepal is launching a NPR 2.2 million fuel support initiative starting from 15th April 2026, aimed at assisting driver-partners based on their activity and performance. The initiative is designed to offset rising fuel costs without increasing fares for passengers.

In addition, the company is implementing measures such as reduced commissions on selected rides and performance-based incentives to enhance driver earnings. With its peer-to-peer pricing model and low commission structure, inDrive aims to offer flexibility and fairness in the ride-hailing ecosystem.

The company has emphasized its long-term commitment to building a balanced mobility system that supports drivers while keeping transportation accessible for users across Nepal.
