IHG to Launch Holiday Inn Dhangadhi, Marking Entry into Sudurpashchim Province

IHG Hotels & Resorts has signed a management agreement with Club Chaulani Ltd. to develop Holiday Inn Dhangadhi, a 115-room hotel set to open in Q1 2028. This marks IHG’s first property in Nepal’s Sudurpashchim Province, expanding its presence in underserved South Asian markets.

Strategically located near Dhangadhi Airport and the India–Nepal border, the hotel will cater to business, government, transit, and leisure travellers visiting attractions like Shuklaphanta National Park. The property will feature four F&B outlets, versatile function spaces, a ballroom, a fitness centre, and a swimming pool. The project underscores IHG’s confidence in Dhangadhi’s growth potential and its strategy to bring trusted global brands to emerging destinations.
