Hulas Steel Powers Sustainability with Solar Energy Milestone in Nepal

Hulas Steel Industries Limited, Nepal’s first Green Steel and Roofing Company, has launched a solar power system at its Simara factory, supported by the Alternative Energy Promotion Centre (AEPC).

This move builds on its previous shift from diesel to electricity in key production lines, reducing fossil fuel use and carbon emissions.

The solar installation is expected to generate renewable energy, cut CO₂ emissions, and enhance energy efficiency, reflecting Hulas Steel’s commitment to sustainable manufacturing, climate action, and ESG leadership in Nepal.
