Historic US Education Fair Brings 30+ Top American Universities to Kathmandu

On August 29, 2025, over 30 top American universities will gather in Kathmandu for Nepal’s largest-ever US education fair, hosted by EDF Jamboree at Putalisadak. The event will give Nepali students direct access to admissions officers, on-site interviews, profile assessments, and possible conditional admission offers. Specialized sessions will cover STEM, business, and liberal arts programs, alongside virtual campus tours.

Several universities plan to announce exclusive scholarships for Nepali students. Sponsored by Mpower Finance, Cathay Pacific Airways, and Prime Bank, with support from ETS TOEFL, the fair runs from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM with free entry (advance registration required). With a 15-year history and over 5,000 student placements, EDF Jamboree aims to make this a transformative milestone for international education in Nepal.
