HIDCL P/E ratio at 21.88 times after EPS doubled to Rs 8.32 in Q1, Sanima Mai net profit slides to Rs 15.19 crore

Jalvidhyut Lagani Tatha Bikas Company Limited(HIDCL) has posted a net profit rise of 100 percent in the first quarter of the current fiscal year 2074/75. As per unaudited financial report published today, its net profit after income tax has increased to Rs 20.79 crore in the first quarter of fiscal year 2074/75 from Rs 10.47 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year 2073/74. HIDCL made operating income of Rs 33.22 crore by the end of the first quarter rising from Rs 15.71 crore in the corresponding quarter. Its reserve fund amounts has slightly increased to Rs 1.11 arba in Q1 from Rs 1.10 arba in corresponding quarter. HIDCL’s earnings per share (EPS) stands at Rs 8.32 from Rs 4.19, its net worth per share is at Rs 111.98 and P/E ratio stands at 21.88 times. Sanima Mai Hydropower Limited (SHPC) has posted a net profit fall of 10.80% percent in the first quarter of the current FY 2074/75. According to the unaudited financial report published today, its net profit after income tax has falls to Rs 15.19 crore in first quarter of fiscal year 2074/75 from Rs 17.03 crore in the first quarter of the previous fiscal year 2073/74. It made an income of Rs 28.31 crore, mainly from selling electricity, by the end of the first quarter, decrease from Rs 30.03 crore in the corresponding quarter. Its reserve fund has increased from Rs 17.93 crore in the corresponding quarter of FY 2073/74 to Rs 44.17 crore in the first quarter of the FY 2074/75. Its earning per share (EPS) stands at Rs 14.41, its net worth per share at Rs 141.87 and P/E ratio at 79.21 times.
