Gold Prices Surge by Rs. 600 per Tola; Silver Down By Rs. 20
Gold and silver prices in Nepal have climbed to fresh historic peaks, continuing a strong upward trend in the domestic bullion market.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of fine gold rose by Rs. 600 per tola on Sunday to reach an all-time high of Rs. 277,800 per tola.
This represents a notable jump from Sunday’s rate of Rs. 278,000 per tola and exceeds the previous record set on January 14, 2026.
Tejabi gold also recorded a sharp rise, increasing by Rs. 600 per tola to Rs. 277,100 from the earlier Rs.276,500 per tola.
Meanwhile, silver prices have also edged down by Rs. 20 per tola, now priced at Rs. 5,625 per tola, compared to Rs. 5,645 per tola the previous day.
