Muktinath Bikas Bank Partners with Janakpur Bolts for NPL Season 3
Muktinath Bikas Bank has signed an agreement to become the official banking partner of Janakpur Bolts for the third season of the Nepal Premier League (NPL), starting October 26.
The partnership will see the bank support the defending ambitions of the NPL’s inaugural champions while promoting local cricket talent and youth empowerment, particularly in Madhesh Province.
Bank CEO Tara Manandhar said the partnership goes beyond placing the bank’s logo on the team’s jersey, reflecting its commitment to connecting with communities through cricket and supporting young talent.
Niroj Khatiwada, CEO of Dream Sports Pvt. Ltd., which operates Janakpur Bolts, welcomed the partnership, saying the bank’s community-focused approach aligns with the team’s efforts to connect with people in Madhesh. He said the team aims to bring the NPL title back to Janakpur this season.
All matches in NPL Season 3 have received official T20 status from the International Cricket Council (ICC), allowing players’ runs, wickets and individual performances to count toward their official T20 records.
Muktinath Bikas Bank said the partnership reflects its broader effort to support Nepali cricket and strengthen its ties with local communities.
