The price of Gold has gained today. According to the official website of the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, fine gold has gained Rs. 900 per tola while Tejabi gold has gained Rs. 850 per tola. Fine gold is being traded today at Rs. 95,200 per tola while Tejabi gold is being traded at Rs. 94,700 per tola.

Meanwhile, silver has also gained today. The precious white metal gained Rs. 40 per tola and is trading at Rs. 1,320 per tola. Silver is often overshadowed by the hype on gold. However, in terms of percentage fluctuation, silver has the ability to generate more profits than gold if not more. This is because the lower price of silver per tola allows an investor to collect more percentage profits on his investment even with a fluctuation of a low numeric value.

Before the pandemic hit, silver was trading only at a three-figure price, and movement on gold was sluggish. Because of investors flocking towards safe haven for wealth like precious metals during uncertain times like the pandemic, the price of both the metals saw a spike. Now, silver has not fallen down from the four-figure price and gold has just stabilized after creating new highs.
