NEPSE Rebounds 11.96 Points After Previous Session’s Loss; Turnover at 3.13 Arba

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a moderate gain, gaining 11.96 points (0.46%) to close at 2,578.73. This follows a 20.48 point loss in the previous trading session.

The benchmark index opened at 2,586.24 and fluctuated between an intraday high of 2,581.58 and a low of 2,557.30 before settling at the close. Total turnover for the day amounted to Rs. 3.13 Arba, with 8,955,230 shares traded across 359 companies through 41,607 transactions. The total market capitalization stood at Rs. 44.35 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 15.03 Kharba.

Ghalemdi Hydro Limited (GHL) topped the turnover chart, recording transactions worth Rs. 23.98 crores. The company’s stock closed at Rs. 275.00 .

Trishuli Jal Vidhyut Company Limited (TVCL) led the gainer's list with a 5.11% gain. The stock closed at Rs. 288.00.

Meanwhile, Sarvottam Paints Industries Limited (SAPIL) recorded the Highest fall, falling by 4.94%. The last traded price of the company was Rs. 1,136.00.

Among sectors, the Trading Index recorded the highest gain, gaining by 0.82%, while Non Life Insurance recorded the highest loss, down 0.06%.
