Deepchandra Regmi Promoted to DCEO of Global IME Bank
Global IME Bank has promoted Deepchandra Regmi to the position of Deputy Chief Executive Officer (DCEO). The bank’s board meeting held on Tuesday decided to promote Regmi, who was serving as Assistant Chief Executive Officer.
Regmi began his banking career at Standard Chartered Bank Nepal in 2007 and joined Global IME Bank in 2009. He has previously served as the bank’s Chief Financial Officer, Chief Human Resources Officer, Chief Lending Officer and Head of Trade Finance.

He is also the chairperson of the board of Global IME Capital, the bank’s subsidiary. Regmi holds an MBA from the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Thailand, and Copenhagen Business School, Denmark.
Global IME Bank currently operates 341 branches, 366 ATMs, 147 branchless banking centres, 69 extension and revenue collection counters and three overseas representative offices.
