Gold and Silver Reach New Record Highs: Gold Gains Rs. 26,600, Silver Rises Rs. 1,430 in Five Days

Gold and silver prices in Nepal have surged to unprecedented levels, continuing a strong upward trajectory in the domestic bullion market.

The Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association reported that the price of fine gold rose by Rs 9,500 per tola on Wednesday, hitting a new record of Rs 318,800 per tola.

Previously, fine gold had reached Rs 309,300 per tola on January 27, 2026, before breaking its own record.

Similarly, tejabi gold increased by Rs 9,500 per tola to reach Rs 318,100, up from Rs 308,600.

Silver also followed the bullish trend, climbing Rs 430 per tola to settle at a fresh peak of Rs 7,300 per tola.
