Gold and Silver Prices Plunges: Gold Down Rs. 52,700, Silver Drops Rs. 2,305 in Three Days

The domestic fine gold market recorded a notable decline on Monday, with prices falling by Rs. 13,400 per tola.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association (FENEGOSIDA), fine gold is currently being traded at Rs. 2,86,600 per tola, down from the previous rate of Rs. 3,00,000 per tola.

Likewise, Tejabi gold has dropped to Rs. 2,85,900 per tola, marking a decrease of Rs. 13,400 from Monday’s price of Rs. 2,99,300 per tola.

The latest correction follows a recent surge, when fine gold hit an all-time high of Rs. 3,39,300 per tola on January 29, 2026.

Meanwhile, silver prices also declined by Rs. 300 per tola, with the metal now trading at Rs. 5,200 per tola, compared to Rs. 5,500 per tola a day earlier.

In the international market, gold is trading at $4,667.70 per ounce, while silver is priced at $77.74 per ounce.
