Gokyo Labs Launches RAPID: Nepal’s Unified API Banking Platform for Corporates

Gokyo Labs has introduced RAPID, an open banking–based API platform that allows corporate customers to perform multiple banking tasks, such as balance checks, statements, fund transfers, EMI payments, and salary processing, from a single system. Previously, businesses had to use different bank portals and software, making the process time-consuming and costly.

With RAPID integrated into a bank or company’s ERP/software, users can access all banking services from one place. The service is currently live for Global IME Bank customers using Tigg accounting software, with more banks and platforms set to join soon.

RAPID digitizes consent, reduces operational hassle, and uses advanced security features like end-to-end encryption and multi-layer verification. The platform aims to strengthen Nepal’s API banking ecosystem, promote Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS), and provide equal access to small, medium, and large businesses.
