GMFBS Concludes 9th AGM, Elects New Directors and Approves Key Proposals

Ganapati Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (GMFBS) successfully held its 9th Annual General Meeting on Chaitra 13, 2082, at Hotel Day Break, Begnas Tal, Pokhara, inaugurated by Chairperson Mrs. Shilpa Pradhananga. The meeting approved various proposals and elected three new directors unopposed: Mrs. Shilpa Pradhananga and Mr. Shivaraj Bhandari representing Guheswori Merchant Banking & Finance Limited (GMFIL), and founding shareholder Mrs. Niraja Sharma (Sapkota).

The appointment of independent director Mr. Kiran Bisht was endorsed, and former chairperson Mrs. Archana Pradhananga was thanked for her contributions. CEO and Company Secretary Mr. Bishnu Prasad Dhakal reported that all proposals were unanimously approved. Since beginning operations on Mangsir 24, 2073, GMFBS now serves members across 23 districts through 43 branches, focusing on rural financial services.
