GM Kansakar vows to revive NAC

KATHMANDU, June 2:

The newly-elected General Manger at the Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) Sugat Ratna Kansakar has expressed his commitment to work to expand the national flag-carrier's flights to the USA and Australia.

Talking to journalists, today, GM Kansakar said that he would add more aircraft to the NAC's fleet within four years to attract more foreign tourists and promote the national heritages with the visit of maximum tourists.

He pointed out the need of adding three to four aircraft for international flights as the corporation is directly linked to promote the tourism sectors in the country.

With the arrival of the foreigners, employment would be generated and that would promote the tourism as well as the development of other sectors in the country, he added.

He also served as the NAC GM some seven years back. RSS
