Global IME Bank to bring foreign loans through International Finance Corporation; waiting nod from Rastra Bank
Global IME Bank has signed an agreement of credit facility with International Finance Corporation (IFC) which is under the jurisdiction of World Bank. the agreement was signed between CEO of the Nepalese bank Mr. Janak Sharma Paudel and Country Director of IFC Mr. Mohamed Rehan Rashiv on Baisakh 13, 2075.
The loan agreement will come into effect once the banking regulator Nepal Rastra Bank gives its nod of approval after which the bank has expected t]o see little ease in the existing shortage of lonable funds in Nepalese banking ecosystem.
The bank is currently serving its customers through 122 branches, 128 ATM outlets, 4 extension counters, 14 revenue counters and 79 branchless banking locations throughout the country.
