Global IME Bank Partners with DAI-Udaya to Support SMEs in Koshi Province

Global IME Bank Limited (GBIME) has signed a memorandum of understanding with the DAI-Udaya project to enhance financial access for small and micro enterprises in Koshi Province. CEO Surendra Raj Regmi and DAI-Udaya Chief of Party Arun Rana signed the agreement, which aims to provide easy loans to selected enterprises, enabling business expansion and job creation.

Supported technically by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Planning and backed by Nepal-Switzerland bilateral initiatives, the project targets sectors like renewable energy, agriculture processing, IT, tourism, and manufacturing. GBIME, with 352 branches, 384 ATMs, and extensive domestic and international remittance services, will facilitate loan disbursement and support sustainable economic growth in the province.
