Free Burn Treatment Camp in Surkhet Benefits 194 Patients
A three-day free burn treatment camp held at Karnali Provincial Hospital in Surkhet provided treatment and consultation services to 194 patients. The camp was jointly organized by Nabil Bank and the hospital, with technical support from PHECT Nepal.
During the camp, 39 patients underwent surgery, while one critical case was referred to Kirtipur Hospital. The initiative primarily supported patients from remote areas and economically weak backgrounds who had long awaited proper treatment.
The camp is part of Nabil Bank’s corporate social responsibility efforts to improve access to burn care in underserved regions. Following similar initiatives in Sudurpaschim, the bank plans to expand such camps to Lumbini and Madhesh provinces in the future.
