F1Soft Appoints Sanat Kumar Paudel as CEO, Marking New Leadership Era

F1Soft International has appointed Sanat Kumar Paudel as its new Chief Executive Officer during its 22nd anniversary celebration, succeeding Subash Sharma, who led the company for over a decade. Sharma, a key figure behind transformative platforms like eSewa and Fonepay, will continue as Director, focusing on strategic direction.

Paudel, currently CEO of FoneNxt and a former digital transformation leader at Nabil Bank, brings over 20 years of experience in banking and ICT.

He will now lead both F1Soft International and FoneNxt, aiming to strengthen technology leadership and expand the company’s global footprint.

The leadership transition reflects F1Soft’s continued evolution from a pioneering startup into a major fintech ecosystem player in Nepal. The company has significantly contributed to the country’s digital finance transformation by introducing early mobile payment solutions and building platforms that support digital wallets, interoperable payments, and digital lending, helping drive financial inclusion and the shift toward a cashless economy.
