Coca-Cola releases global film for FIFA world cup; also includes sequences locally filmed in Nepal

Coke has launched a new commercial with the upcoming FIFA World Cup and youthful years as major themes. The Coca-Cola Company Global Film for FIFA World CUP includes sequences which have been locally filmed in Nepal! The TVC is a high energy film highlighting the special moments of FIFA World Cup 2018.

The soundtrack for the TVC is taken from AC/DC's 1990 hit album 'The Razor's Edge' and titled 'Are you ready?’. The track asks the consumer if they are ready for the upcoming FIFA World Cup. The commercial starts with a display of a television where the FIFA World Cup game is about to begin. The film features teens all around the globe, including 2 Nepali teens running to grab their Coca-Cola just in time for the World Cup match to begin and towards the end urges the view to stock up on Coke before the match fever begins. 

Locations from all over the world are featured in the commercial with key locations from Nepal being shot with Nepali artists: Swoyambhu stupa area - a World Heritage Site, a Kathmandu department store, area near Sitapaila, and a suspension bridge near a housing complex. Nepal features as an integral part of the global TVC.
