Chilime Hydropower net profit surges to Rs 30.91 crore; EPS & net worth at Rs 35.86 & Rs 251.26

Chilime Hydropower Company Limited (CHCL) has reported increase its net profit by 2.58 percent in the first quarter of the current FY 2074/75. Publishing the unaudited quarterly report for the first quarter today, the hydropower company’s net profit after income tax has increased to Rs 30.91 crore in the first quarter of fiscal year 2074/75 from Rs 30.13 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year 2073/74. CHCL made regular income of Rs 32.95 crore by the end of the first quarter rising from Rs 36.31 crore in the corresponding quarter. Its reserve fund amounts to Rs 5.21 arba in Q1 from Rs 4.63 arba in the corresponding quarter. Its paid up capital stand at Rs 3.44 arba, after issuance of 15% stock dividend its paid up capital will reach Rs 3.95 arba. CHCL’s earnings per share (EPS) stands at Rs 35.86, its net worth per share is at Rs 251.26 and P/E ratio stands at 24.67 times. Click here to see announcement:
