CA Pravin Kumar Jha Appointed as Vice President of SAFA

Pravin Kumar Jha, former President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nepal (ICAN), has been appointed as Vice President of the South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA) for 2026, with his term starting on January 1, 2026.

ICAN sees this appointment as a reflection of the growing recognition of Nepal’s accounting profession at the regional level. Previously, ICAN former presidents CA Komal Bahadur Chitrakar and CA Dr. Subodh Kumar Karna led SAFA as President in 2010 and 2018, respectively.

ICAN congratulated CA Jha, expressing confidence that his leadership will strengthen regional collaboration and the accounting profession across South Asia.
