Breaking Records: Gold And Silver Reaches All-Time High

Gold and silver prices in Nepal have hit new historic highs, continuing a back-to-back surge in the domestic market.

The Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association reported that the price of fine gold increased by Rs. 1,800 per tola on Monday, reaching a record Rs. 276,500 per tola.

This marks a significant rise from the previous day’s rate of Rs. 274,700 per tola and surpasses the earlier peak recorded on January 12, 2026.

Similarly, Tejabi gold experienced a notable increase, climbing to Rs. 275,800 per tola from Rs. 274,000 per tola a day earlier.

Silver prices also moved upward, rising by Rs. 145 per tola to reach Rs. 5,340 per tola, the highest level recorded so far, up from Rs. 5,195 per tola previously.
