Breaking Records: Gold and Silver Prices Soar to All-Time Highs

Gold and silver prices in Nepal have climbed to fresh historic peaks, continuing a strong upward trend in the domestic bullion market.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of fine gold rose by Rs. 1,500 per tola on Monday to reach an all-time high of Rs. 278,000 per tola.

This represents a notable jump from Sunday’s rate of Rs. 276,500 per tola and exceeds the previous record set on January 13, 2026.

Tejabi gold also recorded a sharp rise, increasing by Rs. 1,500 per tola to Rs. 277,300 from the earlier Rs. 275,800 per tola.

Silver followed the upward momentum as well, gaining Rs. 315 per tola to settle at a new peak of Rs. 5,655 per tola, compared to its earlier price of Rs. 5,340 per tola.
