Biratnagar Celebrates Global Money Week 2026 with Financial Literacy Rally

On the occasion of Global Money Week 2026, organized under the theme “Smart Money Talks”, a financial literacy morning rally was held in Biratnagar on 2082/12/02. Around 250 employees from various banks and financial institutions participated, promoting messages on savings culture, digital banking, responsible spending, and smart investments.

Initiated in 2012, Global Money Week is observed annually in over 170 countries to raise financial awareness, especially among youth. Officials, including Ashok Chhetri, Deputy GM of Excel Development Bank Limited, highlighted that such programs help young people develop healthy financial habits and plan responsibly for their financial future.
