APIGA Nepal 2025 Empowers Youth for Digital Governance and Cybersecurity

The Asia Pacific Internet Governance Academy (APIGA) Nepal 2025, organized by CAN Federation with ICANN and KISA, concluded a two-day workshop aimed at building Nepal’s future digital leaders.

The program trained students and young professionals on internet governance, ICANN policies, DNS management, and youth participation in global policy-making. Keynote speaker Chiranjibi Adhikari emphasized prioritizing digital ecosystem reform and cybersecurity.

Through simulations and hands-on exercises, participants gained practical skills linking technical cybersecurity with policy. Graduates, now part of the APIGA alumni network, are expected to lead Nepalese digital policy initiatives in global forums.
