Akel, China’s Leading Electric Commercial Vehicle Brand, Enters Nepal Through EV Go

The renowned Chinese commercial vehicle manufacturer Akel has officially entered the Nepalese market through EV Go Nepal Pvt. Ltd., which has been appointed as its exclusive dealer. Akel, known for its high-quality electric commercial vehicles, will introduce electric microbuses and vans in Nepal, starting with 11, 14, and 16-seat models.

Based on market demand, the company plans to gradually bring in larger electric buses (19, 25, 26 seats), cargo vans, electric pickups, and medium-sized electric vehicles.

Akel’s manufacturing plant is in Fujian Province, China, with its headquarters in Guangdong Province and its own R&D center.

The brand is notable for affordable and readily available spare parts. EV Go Nepal has already started constructing service centers in Kathmandu, with plans to expand to major cities, ensuring spare parts and after-sales support for its electric vehicles across the country.
