Tarebhir festival on January 15

The 'second Tarebhir Festival' is taking place in Tarebhir located in the suburb of Shivapuri in the northern belt of Kathmandu district from January 15. The festival is organized on the initiative of local people aiming at promoting tourism in Tarebhir. Among various features of the festival will be cultural procession along with display and sale of varieties of Nepali food, agro products and free distribution of special delicacy Chaku. The Gokarneswor municipality and Katmandu District Developemnt Committee are supporting the local people's bid for organizing the event. RSS
