Yet Another Day of NEPSE's Submission to the Bears, Index Down 14.26 Points at 2,527.58

The NEPSE index closed at 2,527.58 today after losing 14.26 points from last trading day's closing. This is the fifth consecutive red day. The index had lost 29.98 points yesterday.
The index opened at 2,542.65 today and made the intraday high at 2,561.98. However, it couldn't sustain the rise, and the index kept falling from there. While it went as low as 2,520.19, it ultimately closed at 2,527.58.
225 scrips traded hands via 31,431 transactions. Furthermore, a total of 3,890,131 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 1.75 Arba in the turnover amount. This is lower than yesterday's turnover of Rs. 2.545 Arba.
Shivam Cements Limited( SHIVM) had the highest turnover of Rs. 7.91 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 1,047 per share. The shares of Global IME Bank Limited (GBIME) were traded the most.
A total of three scrips technically gained 10% and hit the positive circuit breaker for the day.
On the other side of things, NIBL Samriddhi Fund -2 (NIBSF2) lost the highest 4.73%.
Among the thirteen sector indices, only the "Hotels And Tourism Index" gained a meager 0.83%. Among all other sector indices that closed red, "Life Insurance" lost the highest 1.52%.
