Xiaomi Nepal Distributes 200 Relief Sets to Flood-Affected Families

Xiaomi Nepal has distributed 200 sets of essential household items to families affected by the recent floods and landslides under its Xiaomi For Community initiative.

The relief materials were handed over to Kathmandu Chief District Officer Eshwor Raj Poudel. Each set includes a pressure cooker, frying pan, five plates, five spoons, six cups, five bowls and a thermos bottle.

The company had earlier contributed Rs. 2 million to the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund for relief, rescue and rehabilitation efforts for communities affected by the Bhotekoshi River floods.

Xiaomi Nepal said the latest support is aimed at helping affected families meet their immediate household needs as they recover from the disaster.
