Xiaomi launches Mi TV Stick in Nepal; device Powered by Android TV with Google Assistant and Chromecast built-in

Xiaomi, Nepal's No. 1 Smartphone brand, has announced the launch of Mi TV Stick, a smart, compact, and portable gadget that aims to transform any non-smart TV into a smart TV.  Powered by Android TV 9.0, Mi TV Stick offers access to 5000+ apps and games via Google Play.

Featuring a slim and sleek design, MI TV Stick has a compact and lightweight design (28.5 gms, 92.4 x 30.4mm). Users can now enjoy thousands of hours of engaging content in Full HD resolution on any TV by connecting their Mi TV Stick in less than 30 seconds. The gadget supports Dolby and DTS audio compression technologies delivering rich audio for a cinema-like experience. In addition to this, the Mi TV Stick is also equipped with a quad-core Cortex A53 processor backed by 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage promising a smooth and flawless performance.

Running on Android TV version (9.0), Mi TV Stick gives access to a “world of content” for users.  It is a one-stop destination for streaming content online with access to popular OTT players such as Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+ Hotstar, Hungama Play, Zee5, Aha Entertainment to name a few. With the availability of more than 5000 applications on the Google Play store, Mi TV Stick also gives a plethora of options for playing games on the Google Play Store. Not only this, a Bluetooth remote with dedicated buttons for Netflix and Prime Video comes alongside the Mi TV Stick, making thousands of films and shows available for consumers with just one click.

Google Assistant and Chromecast built-in

Mi TV Stick supports voice search powered by Google Assistant, helping users plan their day, get the latest updates/news, play/search their favorite content, and control other smart home devices. It comes with Chromecast built-in so that users can cast content from all their favorite apps across multiple devices (mobiles/tablets/laptops).

Data saver
