WorldLink Opens Internet Technology Museum Showcasing Nepal’s Digital Evolution
Nepal’s largest internet service provider, WorldLink Communications Ltd., has established the WorldLink Museum at its office premises in Kusunti, Lalitpur. The museum highlights the company’s historical journey and contributions to internet technology in Nepal. It features obsolete but historically significant equipment from various technological phases, including email/internet, dial-up, VSAT, wireless, cable internet, and FTTH.
The museum aims to serve as an educational and research platform for students, researchers, historians, journalists, and tech enthusiasts, reflecting Nepal’s digital transformation. It is open to college students every Friday from 10 AM to 4 PM. The inauguration was held in the presence of Chairman Dilip Agrawal, Co-founder Manoj Agrawal, and CEO Keshav Nepal.
