With a 0.94% Uptick, NEPSE Settles at 1,906 Level; All Sectors Except Microfinance Closes Green Led by "Manufacturing and Processing"

The NEPSE index closed at 1,906 today after gaining 17.70 points from the last trading day's closing. This is a gain of 0.94%. The index lost 26.87 points yesterday.
Today the index opened at 1,885.7 and went intraday high at 1906.61. In contrast, it went as low as 1,865.75 and ultimately closed at 1,906.
261 scrips traded hands via 36,980 transactions. A total of 4,308,645 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 1.38 Arba in turnover amount. This is higher than the last trading day's turnover of Rs. 1.289 Arba.
Himalayan Distillery Limited (HDL) had the highest turnover of Rs. 5.90 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 1900 per share. The shares of GBIMEP traded the most.
Supermai Hydropower Limited (SMH) gained the highest 10% followed by Asian Hydropower Limited (AHL) and Kalinchwok Darshan Limited (KDL) with 9.99%.
Conversely, NMFBS lost all the highest at 10% today. The reason behind decline of NMFBS could be due to the news of dividend amendment from previous 34.45% to 15% for the Fiscal Year 2078/79
Except Microfinance Index, all sector indices closed green, where "Manufacturing and Processing" gained the highest 2.35%.
