With a 0.86% Uptick, NEPSE Gains 17.56 to Settle at 2,063.83 Levels; Four Companies Hit 10% Positive Circuit

The NEPSE index closed at 2,063.83 today after gaining 17.56 points from the last trading day's closing. This is a gain of 0.86%. The index increased 17.26 points yesterday.
The index opened at 2,047.46 and made an intraday low of 2,028.32. It made an intraday high of 2,070.58 and closed at 2,063.83.
253 scrips traded hands via 48,503 transactions. A total of 8,271,355 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 2.960 Arba in turnover amount. This is lower than the last trading day's turnover of Rs. 4.048 Arba.
Nabil Bank Limited (NABIL) had the highest turnover of Rs. 16.84 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 739 per share. The shares of UNIVERSAL POWER COMPANY LTD (UPCL) traded the most.
Shrijanshil Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SHLB) and Dhaulagiri Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (DLBS) gained the highest 10% each and hit a positive circuit for the day. Whereas, KLBS and AIL too increased by almost 10% today.
On the other side of things, NMB 50 (NMB50) lost the highest 4.80% today.
Only three sector indices closed red, "Others" lost the highest 1.52% while "Trading" gained the highest 3.52% today.
