With a 0.22% Uptick, NEPSE Gains 4.57 Points to Settle at 2,100.65 Levels; Eight Sector Closes Green Led by "Manufacturing And Processing"

The NEPSE index closed at 2,100.65 today after gaining 4.57 points from the last trading day's closing. This is a gain of 0.22%. The index gained 1.54 points yesterday.

Today the index opened at 2,096.32 and made an intraday low of 2,087.20. It went as high as 2,102.70 and ultimately closed at 2,100.65.

259 scrips traded hands via 29,846 transactions. A total of 3,922,216 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 1.474 Arba in turnover amount. This is lower than the last trading day's turnover of Rs. 1.931 Arba.

NIC Asia Bank Ltd. (NICA) had the highest turnover of Rs. 6.45 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 828 per share. The shares of UPCL traded the most.

Adarsha Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (ADLB) gained the highest 10% and hit the positive circuit.

Conversely, 8.5% Laxmi Bank Debenture 2088 (LBLD88) lost the highest 9.58% today.

Five sector indices closed red, "Life Insurance" lost the highest 0.82% while "Manufacturing And Processing" gained the highest 1.38% today.
