With 0.46% Uptick, NEPSE Settles at 2,607.42 Level; ; Finance Sector Sees Highest Gain Among All Indices

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a gain today, gaining 12.17 points (0.46% ) to settle at 2,607.42. This follows a 27.64-point loss in the previous session.

The benchmark index opened at 2597, touching an intraday high of 2,612.53, while the lowest point was 2,576.83. Total turnover for the day reached Rs. 4.68 Arba, with 9,218,810 shares traded across 312 companies through 42,879 transactions. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 43.60 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 14.81 Kharba.

Union Hydropower Limited (UNHPL) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 38.61 crores. The stock closed at Rs. 538.90.

Mabilung Energy Limited (MABEL) led the gainer's list with 9.99% each

Meanwhile, First Micro Finance Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (FMDBL) recorded the steepest drop, falling 7.48%.

Among sectors, Finance Index registered the highest gain, gaining 3.41%, while the Trading Index and Hotels And Tourism Index saw the highest loss at 0.45%.
