Western Union Hands over NPR 10 Lakh to Bumper Lucky Draw Winner in Dashain Tihar Ko Saugat campaign; Ms. Kalpana Shahi turns out the luckiest customer

Western Union, a leader in cross-border, cross-currency money movement and payments, has announced the Bumper Lucky Draw winner of its “Dashain Tihar Ko Saugat” consumer promotion in Nepal. Amidst a program, Kalpana Shahi, who made the transaction from CG Finco was announced as the Bumper Lucky draw winner and was handed-over NPR 10 Lakhs today by DGM Nar Bahadur KC at CG Finco’s Customer service center Kamaladi. The winner Kalpana Shahi said, she will utilize this money in productive sectors and will remember Western Union money transfer for a lifetime.

The promotion was launched in October, during the festival season of Dashain, Tihar, and Chhath, 10 lucky customers got a chance to win each NPR 25000 weekly. All qualifying transactions during the promotion period were entered in the Bumper Lucky Draw.

To qualify for the promotion, customers in Nepal were required to receive money through Western Union at select Agent locations: Annapurna Travel & Tours Pvt.Ltd., CG Finco, Hulas Remittance, Maya Remit, Nabil Bank, Surya Remit, and Digitek Remittance.
