The Nepal-India Chambers of Commerce and Industry (NICCI) has launched a website entitled “Doing Business in Nepal: A guide to Indian investors” designed to inform Indian investors about investment potentials in Nepal.

Indian ambassador to Nepal Rakesh Sood released the website amid a function attended by a delegation of Indian businessmen.

The NICCI prepared the guide in association with the Indian Embassy which gives busy executives and business planners a quick review of the investment opportunities in Nepal, states a press release of the NICCI.

During the launching ceremony, the Indian ambassador said that the launch of the guide would be helpful in attracting Indian investment in Nepal given that Indian investment here has been lagging behind lately.

A comprehensive, well compiled content has been laid out in a user friendly format with charts and flowcharts in the website, said the NICCI. “One of the important features is that it offers links to useful acts, regulations, policies and treaties,” it added.
