"We Just Want Our Future Back": Thousands of Students Take to Delhi Streets Led by CJP

Thousands of student protesters gathered in central Delhi for a major demonstration organized by the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), demanding accountability for recent national entrance examination leaks, particularly the NEET-UG medical test. The youth led movement, founded by political communications strategist Abhijeet Dipke, organized a "Sansad Chalo" (March to Parliament) to press for the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, stricter anti leak laws, and financial compensation for families of students affected by exam cancellations.

The demonstration turned tense when thousands of young protesters attempted to push past multi layered police barricades near Parliament. Security forces used tear gas and lathi charges to disperse the surging crowds yesterday, while police reported that some demonstrators threw stones and damaged government vehicles. The confrontation left over a hundred security personnel and dozens of student protesters injured. In response, police temporarily shut down nearby metro stations, cut mobile internet service in parts of New Delhi district, and detained several demonstrators yesterday.

Following the clashes, a delegation of student representatives met with Union Minister J.P. Nadda to formally hand over their written demands. While the government asked the group to end its sit-in and promised to review the petition, organizers noted that no concrete assurances were made regarding their core demand for the Education Minister's resignation. Meanwhile, prominent activist Sonam Wangchuk, who joined the movement in solidarity and engaged in an extended hunger strike, remains hospitalized at Safdarjung Hospital where he is continuing his protest. Report says Punjabi farmers also joined the student protest at Jantar Mantar.

The protest is ongoing today for the resignation of education minister, report stated that more than 20+ students have died after their paper leak and dozens of protesting students are injured yesterday marching towards the parliament. The rally towards parliament begins from the Jantar Mantar. Jantar Mantar is a place like Maitighar of Nepal in India.
